OUR THERAPEUTIC FARM

It's More Than a Setting.
It's Part of the Therapy

Our 20-acre farm just 10 minutes north of Calgary is where something different becomes possible. For those who haven't connected with traditional therapy, the farm changes the equation.

20 Acres

Open land, trees, water, and wildlife. Room to breathe.

10 min. North of Calgary

Far enough to feel different. Close enough to be practical.

Purpose Built for Therapy

Every part of the farm is used with intention. Not recreational. Therapeutic.

Why a Farm?

Nature has a way of slowing us down and helping us focus on what matters. The farm offers space to breathe, room to move, and experiences that bring out strengths that are harder to access in an office.

Here, boys and men build skills through doing, connecting, and showing up. With the support of animals and a therapist who understands.

Natural Environment

Calming, grounded, and full of sensory opportunities.

Animal Connections

Horses and other animals provide honest feedback and build trust.

One-On-One with Lance

Every session is individual, focused on your goals.

Sessions Year-Round

The farm runs in all seasons and we plan for it all.

Meet the Animals

Our animals help make the farm a welcoming place to connect, explore, and learn. Each brings their own personality to the experience and often becomes a memorable part of a anyone's time here.

What to Expect at the Farm

Every session at the farm is different because every person is different. Lance brings a clear therapeutic goal into each one. The activities you see below are how that goal gets worked on. Here's what a session might look like:

Grooming horses to build trust, presence, and connection through hands-on care.

Leading and groundwork to practice clear communication without words.

Building and navigating obstacle courses to develop focus, problem-solving, and self-regulation.

Farm chores and animal care to build responsibility, routine, and a sense of accomplishment.

Using the farm environment to observe, process, and respond.

Only your son works with the animals. This is a therapeutic session, not a petting zoo visit. Animal contact is reserved for the client only, and that boundary is what makes it work.

While your son is in session, the farm has dedicated parking, benches, and an outdoor playground for families who are waiting.

Every session is tailored. Activities follow what your son is ready for, not a fixed program.

Animal Connection

Build trust, confidence, and connection through working with animals.

Space to Regulate

Movement, nature, and open space create room to slow down and reset.

Learning by Doing

Skills are practiced through real experience, not just talked about.

Individualized Sessions

Activities are chosen around your son's needs, goals and comfort level.
